Corner Shower – Find The Best One

All those who missed  the pleasure of having a long bath as  the bathroom couldn’t accommodate a bathtub, have a practical solution now in the form of a corner shower bath tub. Because they are designed primarily for soaking, you may even find using them preferable to the larger sized tubs. Of course, there are bath tub stalls of all sizes. The provision of a showerhead makes it the ideal choice of those who like to take showers too. While larger bathrooms can have the bath and shower stall separate, with a smaller bathroom you will have to opt for an all in one solution.

There are many different corner shower tubs available, so you should be able to find the perfect style and design for you. And it’s easy to find right bath tub base showers on the market. The shape of the tub will be a big factor; there are standard shapes such as oval and triangle, or you may want something unusual like a fun heart shape. These tubs are also offered in a variety of colors, so it will be easy to find one that matches your overall color scheme. If you are looking for a more traditional look, you may choose it in white or crème color. On the other hand, if you want to bring in some excitement, you get them in a large variety of colors and shades of red, green, blue and maroon etc.

Another factor that needs your attention while choosing a corner bathtub is the material used for its construction. Most of the time you have to decide between fiberglass and acrylic, the two materials most often employed for their construction. Both of these are ideal for a bathtub , though acrylic may be expected to have a longer life and its color don’t fade away over the years. They are both fairly resistant to scratches and cracks, but fiberglass is not as durable so it is more prone to suffer from these problems. So, check everything you can on tubs and panels before buying something.

Points To Consider When Choosing a Shower Unit

A warm shower is an experience a lot of people look forward to. The level of enjoyment you get will depend on the shower units you buy. One of the biggest choices to make is whether to install a separate unit or to place the shower above the bath.

The location, within the bath and shower room of your shower is important when considering you design project. It may take some research and consultation among the users of the shower space to get the right choice of location, especially if you have no experience in bathroom design. It is important to note that taking a shower is a lot quicker than taking a bath. When deciding between a bath or shower it is a useful aspect to consider.

There are a few points to also consider when thinking about putting in a shower in your next bathroom remodeling project:

In the system it is important to consider the flow of water. You will need to look at the hot and cold system and both the cooling and heating within the system.

It is vital that the wiring in the bathroom is well insulated so it does to present any dangers during bathroom usage and future bathroom maintenance.

The use of a thermostatic shower will require a correct flow and control of energy in the system.

You will need to take note of the water pressure in the shower and the water supply to it. The water supply, to the shower, from the supply tank must be looked at. The pressure within the system is important to give the required water output. If there is not enough pressure in the system then you may need a power or mixer shower.

For a shower unit that you intend to use for a period of time it is worth investing some money. This is because you will have to do extensive plumbing and electrical work and therefore it is not a job you will want to keep repeating. The initial cost may be very high but over the long term you will reap the rewards.

A lot of manufacturers of shower units and other fixtures have displays of the latest models. It is a good place to get ideas of designs and styles as they are frequently displayed in model bathrooms.

When you decide on the model you want it is worth doing an online search to get a great deal and find other similar options available. Taking these steps is a great way to start your bathroom and shower remodeling project.

Designing the Perfect Bathroom For You - 6 Top Tips

Probably the greatest challenge in remodelling a bathroom is figuring out how to achieve the style and build in the features you want within the limits of what is possibly the smallest room in the house. With a bit of know how and common sense, remodelling a bathroom will be relatively easy.  For those with bathroom design software the job can be made that much easier.Follow these six steps and you could be on the way to the bathroom of your dreams

1) Think about the layout in your existing bathroom and decide which are the most serious problems that you should fix.

2)  Electrical outlets and switches are usually easier to move than plumbing pipes, provided there is easy access to the wiring.  If your current layout is livable, leaving the mechanical systems as they are will mean you will have more budget for upgrading fixtures and fittings.

3) Consider the lighting arrangement. You will need to use strong lighting over any mirrors (a 60W strip bulb will usually suffice). For the rest of the bathroom you should require 3.3.5-4W of lighting per square foot of floor space.

4) Make a detailed diagram of your existing bathroom design.  Use a sheet of graph paper or CAD software if you have it.Include all wall details and don't forget to include the location of all doors and windows.Make note of the dimensions of your floor cabinets and bathtub as well as the distance from the nearest wall to the centre of the toilet.Note also the locations of all electrical outlets as well as all of the switches and fixtures.

5) Gather up some style ideas and make notes.Decide which major fixtures that you want in your new bathroom.Determine colours, finish materials, lighting, the storage details and accessories.Decide on a layout that meets local clearance requirements, fits you needs and will make efficient use of the space you have.

6) Draw a detailed floor plan of your proposed bathroom.  Again, if you have CAD bathroom design software available then make use of it.You may also need to have it checked by a professional designer in order to get any additional ideas.
