The homeowner of the modern day wishes to have a bathroom that is cleaner, more stylish and more hygienic than their predecessors could have ever imagined. And thanks to the Glass Shower Door the days of the old, moldy shower curtain are coming to an end in today’s contemporary bathroom.

Aside from pleasing the eye and adding value to the home, Glass Showers do not provide a breeding ground for Germs and Mold causing Bacteria that will only make you and your loved ones sick. Many people clean their Shower Curtains by putting them in the wash. Yet unbeknownst to them they are quite possibly spreading millions upon millions of Germs and Mold causing microscopic Bacteria into their washing machines that can later infect the entire household. With a Glass Shower Door such dangers are not an issue. In order to clean Glass in the wash space all that needs to be done is to wipe it down with any disinfectant cleaner, rinse, squeegee and you are Germ & Bacteria free. Excluding the Silicon that's used to form watertight seals at the Glass Panel joints. And the Bottom Wipes at the base of all Glass Shower Door Panels, which form a watertight seal. Both Silicone and the rubber made Bottom Wipes will form Mold with time. The solution is to use a Mildew Resistant Silicon that is specifically made for Showers & Sinks. The inexpensive solution for the Bottom Wipes is to replace them about every six to seven months.

All Shower Glass Doors can easily be bacteria and mold free if the proper precautions from its installation are carried out. And along with frequent cleaning by the owner.
